THe nurses by me make me hold the baby. Ugh I hate that. So she's looking at me while she's getting shots. I cry the whole time.

My doc gave me samples of I think Tempra and advil or motrin at our hospital follow up appt. And Melisa Hannah always says "maa" when she cries! It's SO SAD! I know she's in pain (gas) aqnd it's like she's saying mommy help me!  lol! it makes me want to cry! So I should ask my doc about getting Hannah's ears peirced??? Is he the one who should do it??

Be careful with the motrin and advil. I had heard you shouldn't give either until 6 months. Just tylenol now. And my mom called last week when payton was sick and there was this piece on the news about giving babies motrin or advil. It causes some sort of problem.
Some doctors do ear piercing themselves after four months. My doctor just did PAyton's. I think if yours does and you want to get them pierced it's safer then taking her to the mall.

I had thought maybe I had read that wrong last time. I've never heard of doctors piercing ears. Is it a new thing where you live?

Thanks Jenna. Yea I just checked and he gave me Infant's Tempra and Children's Advil. The Advil says not to use on children under 2 and the stupid thing expires next year! I've got a thing of infant's Tylenol in the medecine cabinet, I just tossed those samples in the diaper bag.

So after 4 months you can get them done? Do most family doctors do peircings now? Nikki are you around? Do you know if they do that here?

Not all doctors do them here. Actually my group has five doctors and he's the only one that does them.
