I have noticed that alot of people here use abbreviations, but for some reason I can't seem to figure out what they are for. Can someone give me a brief lesson in the various Abbreviations that you guys are using? Thanks.

Hi Becca

Now then, I don't know them all but I will try to list as many as I do. I am sure other ladies will add to the list for you.

Here goes...

af - aunt flow or your normal period
cd - cycle day
bd - bedding (intercourse)
O - Ovulation
ms - morning sickness
hsg - (hormone that is found in your urine or blood to indicate conception)
fsh - (folicle stimulating hormone (blood test to make sure that you are ovulating normally - normally carried out on ladies who have been trying for a very long time to get pregnant)
lmp - last month's period
2ww - 2 week wait (normally after ovulation and before your next period is due)
lol - laugh out loud
lmao - laugh my a*se off

There are many more but just can't think of any at the moment. Hope these help

Good luck

dd- dear/dearest daughter
ds- dear son
dh- dear husband or darn husband...just joking about the darn
sil- sister-in-law
mil- mother-in-law

Can't think of any more at the moment.....
