I believe I have ask people on here before but with the message board changing I don't know. First of all I'm going to tell you that twins run in my family (both my mom and dad's side). Now, my question is are there any different signs/symptoms to let you know you are carrying twins? My doctor doesn't tell me what my HCG levels are when I go in for a visit, and in my first ultrasound all we saw was one baby. (Of course that's all we were looking for) They say one could stay hidden during the ultrasounds.. anyways... since I don't know if my HCG levels are high or not I don't know how to tell if I could possibly be carrying twins or not. I mean she may just be a very active baby, but since like 14 weeks I've been able to feel her move very strong. It's like she'll kick where my ribs are and at the same time kick very low in my stomach area. I mean I may be overreacting but I was just curious if anyone would know. I haven't told my doctor twins run in the family... I didn't think it was very important since he hasn't asked. I know the odds are really low, and it being my first child is very unlikely and you're probably thinking I am crazy but I am just wondering.

My friend who has had two single children then twins said there was no real difference to her early on. I read in your other post that you're having a 4D scan soon so that may confirm things either way. If you don't want too many scans an experienced midwife can usually feel whether there are two heads, two bottoms etc I hope you'll let us know when you find out for sure.
