Here is something that some pregnant women do not know. If you live in the Stat of CA you can receive State Disability Insurance when you take a leave from to have your baby. You will get half or what you make. On a two week payroll I make $654 dollars. When I get State Disability I will be getting $300 and something. Ask your doctor about it. My doctor told me that it will go into effect at 36 weeks. But I am not going to start until the 26th of May. My due date is June 6th. And I am happy that I will be a mommy. My Sgt. at work told me at the SDI. And I asked my doctor about. Ask your employer first if you can get SDI. If my husband was going to get SDI he would lose his job. Because some businesses don't have you pay for SDI. I think now my husband is paying for SDI, i' not sure. He works at a Casino. I would strongly suggest that you do take SDI if you can. Even if you can afford not working for how ever months. Because that extra money will come in handy. My husband told me to take my 12 weeks. But I am going back to work after eight weeks. So that it isn't hard for me. And it will give my husband some time to be with our daughter. My husband will work during the day. And I will be woriking graveyards. That way we don't have to pay for chilf care.
