|
|
I have had 2 miscarriages in past 6 months; I have had two normal pregnancies. After the last 2 miscarriages I was put on a progesterone suppository to thicken the lining of uterus.
An ultrasound confirmed I was 7 1/2 weeks pregnant and heartbeat was there.
Doctor did additional blood work a week later and said my progesterone levels had dropped ... what does this mean? Do I have to fear yet another miscarriage or is normal for levels to dip?

Cheree,
Thank you for the websites. I'm now in my ninth week and haven't lost the baby, so hopefully doubling my progesterone has worked.
I see the doctor today.
After 2 miscarriages it's hard not to be scared with every little change.

So far so good! I had a 2nd ultrasound last week when the doctor couldn't hear the baby's heart beat.
Wow - what a difference from the very first one! -- you coud definately see the baby's heart beating and how much it's grown in two weeks.
Thank you for your well-wishes. I'm beginning to relax a bit more but will be happy when I get to 12 weeks!
