 Post subject: cramping

i am new here and i was just wondering if anyone has cramping it feels like menstrual cramps i am 37 weeks and i had them on and off for a few hours last night and now again they come and go today is this normal or anything to worry about

It depends how bad they are..... maybe you should check with your doctor. Regular contractions feel like REALLY BAD menustral cramps....so I'm not too sure what to tell you.
Toward the end of my pregnancy when I was like 38-39 wks I had sharp stabbing pains in my lower abdomen and I was told that it was normal, it was just the baby moving very low into my pelvic region.

Cramping (at this stage of pregnancy) is sign of going into labor!! Not something to worry about. But I would call your doctor to notify her/him!! :)

I was getting crampy feelings about a month ago and my doctor said it is normal. I was getting them a couple nights ago too. I think it's just the baby moving down a bit. You're probably fine :wink:
