Nice to meet you Mandy, and congratulations on your expected little one. =c)

I guess I just worry about my age, and how many kids we would like to have, and the fact that I had a laproscopy in November of last year and am wandering if any scar tissue from that could hinder our attempts at conceiving. My periods have always been painful and never regular, so they thought I might have endometriosis. Thank God, I don't have endo, but now I wonder what it is that prevents me from having a normal cycle of periods.

This, of course, makes it almost impossible to figure out when would be the best time to try to conceive.

Jason and I really love kids and want one. We have been talking about names, watching "A Baby Story" and discussing how we would like to raise our children. We have went as far as to discuss about raising our children with Santa at Christmas or not. We have went to several stores to look at furniture and baby items. We have talked, and think it might be wise to go ahead and purchase one baby furniture item a month even before we conceive. We figure that once we know that we are expecting that there will be doctor's bills every month for the visits and possible other expenses. This way we are trying to plan ahead.

Are we crazy in this type of thinking,; ie. putting the cart before the horse, or are we just being practical?

Anyways, sorry about the long note, but thank you for replying.

How is your pregnancy been? Have you had any complications? Have you dealt with any type of morning sickness? Do you know, or are you planning on finding out the sex of your baby?

I know I can talk alot and so if you need to tell me to shut up, or mind my own business, I understand.

Take care, and congratulations.

Sincerely,

Becca

Hi Becca,

I don't believe the scar tissue should affect you in concieving you may try to ask your doctor. I would try to have a baby when you are ovulating, My last period was oct 19th and had intercourse on november 2nd and nov 2 I was ovulating you ovulate exactly 2 weeks after your menstral cycle so try to do that when you do have a period and buying baby stuff now is great what fun huh. Theres no harm in that. My pregnancy is going great I did have horrible morning sickness in the beginning but now its stopped. I'm hoping for a girl already have two boys so I will fing out on march 10th if its a boy or girl. I will let you know
Tommorrow I go in to the drs to have a colposcopy done I have the dysplasia cells on my cervix so thats a little scary. I'm sorry you have had painful periods. hang in there things will get better and you WILL get pregnant. ask your doctor to if theres anyway to have your periods sooner I think they have some kind of pill you can take?
Take care mandy
