I am 6 weeks pregnant or so. This is my second prenancy but I miscarried the first time. I am pretty scared that I will miscarry again but really try not to stress over it. I have my first doctor appointment on July 2. I have some cramps and am not sure if its normal at this point in my pregnancy. It does scare me though because of my first miscarriage. I have no spotting and am still very very sick in the morning. What should I be worried about? Please help me. What are some healthy things I can do to relax?

Although you may be nervous about it after your sad loss previously, you could focus on the new life growing within you and visualise it thriving.

In general terms, meditation and yoga are effective ways to relax.

Best wishes for your first appointment too.

I sympathize with your situation. I have had 2 miscarriages over the last two years and have been on fertility drugs for almost a year. I am now on my third pregnancy and hoping this one takes. My second miscarriage was at 8 weeks so it was very hard to take. Currently I am in my 7th week and it still makes me very nervous even though I am feeling really good about this one. All I can say is that you will get through whatever comes and you have to just hope for the best. There is nothing magical anyone can say to make your anxiety go away but if you are feeling good you have to just go with it. I certainly understand your fear and you've probably heard this a million times but lots of women miscarry and go on to have perfectly healthy pregnancies. Try not to worry too much about it. Take care and good luck!

My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, but I have a successful second pregnancy. I was terrified the 2nd time around it would happen again since I had miscarried in my 11th week. Even part of the pregnancy was a stepping stone though. When I heard his heartbeat I finally relaxed a little, when the ultrasound was done I relaxed even more. Just try to stay as stress free and relaxed as possible and all should go well. Good luck to all of you!
