Hey,

I'm 34.......I had my son when I was 32. I definitely don't look 34 or feel 34  You can imagine how good I felt when I was asked for ID this summer at a bar....the drinking age here is 19......I was so happy!!!!!!!!

Anyway, 40 is NOT old!!

Hi,

I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your son.......I can only imagine how hard it must have been for you and your partner.

A lot of women today do have children later in life......they want to finish their education, get their career started, etc. I guess there really never is a perfect time to have a baby. I had a hard time conceiving my son at the age of 31, it took almost two years and I never thought it would happen......I did everything by the book during my pregnancy.....no caffeine, took my multivitamins everyday, made sure I had enough folic acid in my diet, made myself drink milk (chocolate milk that is) ....I'm not a milk drinker, etc, etc. I wanted this baby to be as healthy as he could possibly be. Well he was, he weighed 9lb 70z and scored a 9 on his APGAR test ......he had some fluid on his lungs because he was delivered by emerg. C-sec.
Anyway, I just want to say good luck !
