I'm 27 weeks pg now and I'm still wrestling with a girl's name. We don't know the sex of our baby so we need to have a boy and a girl name picked out. I think I'm all set with the boy's name but I'm still not sure on the girl's name. I'm aiming for Lilian Renee but I'm just not sure that rolls off the tongue that easy. Any opinions?

We have 2 children with our son we had 2 names that we really liked and were certain that we would use one of the 2 however the moment our son was born my husband chose a totally differant name. With our girl we chose 2 names and she was given one of those names. I guess all I am trying to say is you will know what you want to call her when the time is right.

My husband and I are thinking about the name Lillian Faye. Faye is a family name on his side and I love older, elegant names llike Lillian. What kind of names do you like? Common, unique, classic? Or nothing really specific?

I have also heard that the moment you see your baby, you just know. I was to be named Jennifer or Danielle. The moment my mom saw me she said I was a Kimberlee.
So don't freak, It will come to you, even if it's last minute. Good Luck and Congrats!!!! :D

I think I do like more traditional names than trendy ones. I guess my concern in part is that I don't want something that is difficult to pronounce for my child or anyone else. There are just some names that don't flow off the tongue well and I'm trying to avoid any of those. I am hoping that when the day comes that he or she arrives, we will be able to pick a name that just fits. I'm just a planner so leaving it undecided until the last moment makes me nervous.

Denise,
Your name is great. Lilian Renee is really cute and I think it does go together. Anyways, once a name is given, it fits and starts to roll off the tongue easier and easier.
Ps. did you get my reply to your PM? It acted weird after so I didn't know if it went through!!

yeah you will just know when you see your baby. With my first I had a name picked out but named him after his daddy when I saw him. But my second I already had a name picked out and I stuck with it. With this one I am not in a rush I might wait intill I see him to name him. Good Luck!
