I am posting for my wife who is 24 weeks. She has been having excruciating lower abdominal pain since week 12. Three weeks ago they told us she had an appendicitus and performed surgery to remove her appendix. The abdominal pain is still present and not getting any better. She was just released from a high risk hospital where she was seeing a specialist in maternal fetal medicine. The ran tests for a week all of which came back negative(MRI, Ivp, Renal and full abdominal ultra sounds) She was also seen by a gastro specialist. None of the doctors could find a cause for the pain and basically sent her home in agony telling her to slowly wean herself off of the pain medication. When she is not medicated she is in constant pain, can barley walk to the bathroom. They keep telling us the baby is fine and they can't find anything life threatning to my wife or the baby. Anyone have any similar expiriences?

PS this is her 4th pregnancy and she says this not any normal pregnancy pain like round ligament pain etc...
