Hiya im 10 weeks pregnant and last night I noticed some light brown discharge in my underwear..12 hours later no more appears to be in my knickers, however when I wipe I can see a tiny winy bit again. Its not accompanied by any unusual pain, if anything Im probably feeling less cramps now than I was a couple of days ago. No sign on red blood yet (fingers crossed). After reading up on the web, looks as if it could be old blood due to my cervix stretching or god forbid the start of a miscarriage. Has anyone ever experienced, whether it be old blood, the start of a miscarriage or something else?
I hate not knowing please can someone help. |

| Relax, brown blood is old blood, nothing to worry too much about. I spotted brown hrought both my pregnancies. If you are worried though, I would call your OB or midwife. |

Had a scan yday which showed I am 5 weeks 6 days and everything is perfectly normal, (babies heart is beating). The brown discharge has now started to look slightly red. Its not bright and I wouldnt say it looks like fresh blood and its not heavy at all yet (fingers crossed) I noticed this roughly 3 hours after intercourse...Could this of had something to do with it?
Should I be worried now ? |

Nope, no worrying there mama! A bit of blood after sex (even red blood) is normal  |
