| I have a three old month old daughter. she always have her fingers or thumb in her mouth. i try really hard to stop her, whenever i try to take her thumb out of her mouth she gets irritated and starts crying.I always make sure that she is not hungry and is comfortable. I don't know what to do? |

OMG a 3 month old baby is WAY too young to have a "habbit" It is completely normal for a baby to put its fingers in its mouth lol. It is just exploring. a 3 month olds motor skills are terrible and it is just feeling around. if your baby is sucking on it's fingers or doing alot of the moro reflex ("rooting") then he/she may be hungry. Dont try to stop your baby from putting it's fingers in it's mouth.... good luck |
