I was stuffing myself with them till I started browsing the net.
Amazingly enough I found that those are not recommended
because Papaya and Pineapple have extremely high enzyme
content and can harm the baby big time.

The liver and liver products like pate supposedly contain
vitamin A and can harm the development of the baby

wheras the carrot Juice containing high levels of vitamin A
not harmful because there is the difference between the
vitamin A source,
the one from animals is bad, the one from veggies is good.

Can anyone confirm that ? I am not sure what to think.

I did not found anything on the page you recommended but
this page defenetely contains something that is not too optimistic,
after all we all know that papaya and pineapple contain loads of
enzymes and they are used to tenderize the meat, can we be really sure that the baby is not being harmed by them or that they won't promote misscarriage:

Title : Are cashews & cantaloupe to be avoided during pregnancy

From: Sonali
Question: I read in article that 'papaya & pineapple' contain high enzymes - so that should be avoided during pregnancy. Is this also true for cashews & cantaloupe?

Ans: It is believed that raw papaya and pineapple can induce abortion due to the enzymes it contains. But there is no scientific evidence to support this belief. Cashews and cantaloupe are safe to be consumed during pregnancy.

If you have any good new site that could be of more info please post on this forum here

thanks
