Hi I am 23 and have been on the pill now for four years and
have never gotten pregnant. The reason I am concerned now is because
I had been taken antibiotics and had unprotected sex.
He never ejaculated in me but I know that doesn’t mean anything. I started
taking the antibiotics one week before my peiord was due. When I did
get my peiord it was really lite and only lasted a few days. I always
get my peiord on a Tuesday night. Well, Tuesday there was only a
little bit of blood on the tip of the tampon. Wednesday and Thursday
the same thing. Come Friday there was some about half way. The blood
never got red, it was a pinkish brown. I didn’t have anything else
until Monday morning there was some brown spotting and then nothing.
It is one week now since I had my “period.” I really didn’t think much
of my weird peiord until a few days ago my breast started to feel
tender and are a bit swollen. I took a test and it was negative.
Does this mean I am not pregnant or is there a possibility that I am???

I'd suggest waiting another week and test again if you are still feeling symptoms, i.e. you start feeling more tired, heartburn, aching continues. I took a pregnancy test when I was pregnant with my son right after my period should have started and it was negative. I let another two weeks go by and then it was positive. Hope this helps.

I was on the pill and had been on it for 3 years and never gotten pregnant also. I got sick in December and my doctor prescribed antibiotics ( I continued my pill ), but my husband and I had unprotected sex... and no he didn't ejaculate in me. Like a week later I started having pains in my abdomen and didn't fell really well and I went to the doctor and they sent me to a gyno and they did a transvaginal ultrasound and said I had a cyst on my ovary... when my blood test came back before I had surgery to have it removed... the blood test showed I was pregnant even though the urine test was negative. So... there is a possibility that you could be pregnant.... yeah it's a small chance... but that chance is there! When I found out I was pregnant I was a little less than a week pregnant!

Thank you for your help ladies. I made a doctors apt. for Friday. If I am pregnant will it show up on a blood test?

It should show up if you are! If you have doubts after you get the blood test give it a couple of weeks and try an at home test. It could just be the antibiotics messing w/ your monthly cycle! Good luck!

I took my blood test today I will get the results tomarrow or Monday. My boyfriend and I are going to celebrate eather way. I will let you know.

I got my results back. It was negative. My boyfriend and I would like to wait a few more years. Thank you for your responces it really helped.
