Good morning! I am currently 11 wks pregnant with my second child. The docs have decided to put me in "high risk" for premature birth, due to my first child being premature. They have me scheduled to meet with a high risk doc on Wednesday to discuss a weekly shot starting at 16wks until delivery. They said it's a pregesterone shot that will help with the gestation of the baby. My OB, didn't have much information but told us that the study was completed 2 years ago. My husband and I have tried internet research to learn what we can before the consultation, but have had not luck. Has anyone out there heard of this or had it done?
