I'm five weeks one day along, and I was having cramping not unlike menstrual cramps, which my doctor told me not to worry about. Today, however, I'm experiencing twinges on either side of my stomach, low down, sort of where you would expect your ovaries to be, and slightly more so on my left side. I'm not bleeding at all and they are not very painful, just kind of distracting. I'm wondering if I should be worried or if this is normal? Has anyone else experienced this?

It might be round ligament pain (basically your body stretching out to make more room) but 5 weeks is kinda early for that...Hmm, mabey call your doc to make sure. It doesn't sound like anything serious, but I'd double check! Smile

The pain you are experiencing sounds to me like your uterus is stretching. I remember it being VERY VERY painful with my first pregnancy. Welcome to the painful pregnancy club! Laughing

I'll call the doctor just in case, but I'm glad it doesn't sound like anything serious to you guys. Painful pregnancy, maybe, but atleast I'm not battling serious morning sickness yet! Razz

Just wait the morning sickness will come!!!! Mine is horrible right now and every book I have read says that it should be diminishing..........I have a feeling I am in for it through out the long haul!!!
