i'm at 37 weeks and the doctors say that our baby is 5 pounds...on track for around a 6 pound baby. they are using the ultrasound for these estimates. is that cause for concern in terms of size? you can read some disturbing articles out there. i'm sure every situation is different.
is there a strong correlation b/w birth weight and a person's ultimate size. my husband and i were both 8 pound babies and everyone is our family is very good size...so we can't figure it out. i've tried to be as healthy as possible during pregnancy. any advice or data points out there? |

I wouldn't take a doctors guess too seriously. I feel like any guesses are rarely accurate, so don't be worried about having a small baby. |
