I am new to this forum and i need help!
I am a new mom, my baby is 17 months and I have always rocked her to sleep which I always loved but now I think it is time for her to learn how to go to sleep on her own, my biggest problem is that when she is tired I put her in the crib kiss her goodbye and leave, she starts crying which at this point I am prepared to let her cry a little bit BUT, even with 2 0r 3 minutes of crying she has learned to get so upset she throws up in the crib, so then I have to clean her or give her a bath, change the sheets and then rock her to sleep cause I don'yt want her to do this again, I feel very frustrated because I don't know what to do, if to keep rocking, which I loved for a time, but she is a heavy baby 29 bls., and i suffer of chronic neck and shoulder pain so the weight agravates my pain, please if anybody knows of a similar problem I would appreciate some help, or if there is anything like baby psycologist for me or any kind of expert that could guide me throug this.
thanks. |
