My daughter has had a bump on her head since she was born. She is now 5 months old. It is abou the size of a nickle - hasn't grown or changed in color or shape... it does have blood vessels on it. Now the Ped - had no idea what it was when i took her at her two month appt- but at her four month appt he diagnosed it as a hemotoma and said that the bump may never go away.... i just don't get that... he says she probably bumped her head on my pelvis on her way out... but why would it never go away and why has she had it for 5 months??? Has anyone experienced this??
