hi just wanted to know when you did finally wean your baby from nursing how did you do it?

hi there,with corey (who is now 2 and a half )i weaned him at 10 months and how i did it was gradualy cut down then completely stop.goodluck

Oooooo, I fed Caleb till he was almost 17months. I thought he would never give up the breast, but I just decided that I was going to have to stop. I just gradually cut out the day feeds completely and then the night feed I gradually cut down on until one night I just shuved a bottle in his mouth and that was that.

Good luck cause I know it is a hard decision - for you and for baby. We all just want to do what is best for our children...

Blue nursed until she cut her first tooth. I had just started to wean her so my MIL could babysit when i was away. Prior to that she had been biting and was less interested in the breast and I think she just decided to stop when she cut that first tooth (which was actually 2 at once). Then she weaned from the bottle at 12 mos 2 weeks.
