I think on average its anywhere from 15 to 30 pounds but it all depends on the person and each pregnancy. Im 16 weeks and i havent gained any yet, but with my first preg I gained about 10 pounds by the 4th month. Just as long as you keep healthy! I have been doing alot more exercise with this one so I keep fit!
Good luck |

| At 24 weeks I had gained 15-16 pounds. Which is right on target. Now at 29 I've gained 19. I also exercise at least twice a day and eat very healthy, avoiding alot of fat, sweets, and especially sodium (if I didn't I would swell up like a toad, lol). During pregnancy it's important to eat lots of fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains, protein, and foods that are high in calcium. Also drink lots of water. Drinking alot of fruit juices and especially soda will lead to extra weight gain. You can get alot of info on the internet about pregnancy nutrition. Just go to any search engine and type in pregnancy nutrition and a bunch of different sites will come up. And for exercise, walking is great during pregnancy and also prenatal yoga is a wonderful way to stay fit. Good luck with your pregnancy and I hope this helps. |
