| im in a foster home im almost 17yrs old and pregnant. im afraid that DSS will take my baby because i'll still be in their care. if this could have happened only a few months later i would be 18 when he/she is born. what can i do to keep them fom taking my baby. im still in school. im working two jobs to save up. me and the father have started looking for an appartment and baby things but i dont want it to all be for nothing. does anybody know what i can do. i grew up in Dss with no mother an it was horrible i dont want my baby going through the same thing.PLEASE HELP ME. I'M SCARED FOR MY BABY. :? |

Honey, I'm really sorry about your situation! But I have NO idea what to say! I know nothing of how that would work out! Is there anyone you can talk to about what happens in cases like this?
I am probably wrong but why would they take your baby away just b/c you are in foster care? They don't take them away from girls who live with their parents or who arent in foster care...
