ok well, im not quite sure, but the majority of mykenzis awake time, she is in my arms, or the arms of her grand parents... she has her times when she just chills on her own, like after i change her, she lays there for about 5-10 minutes looking at her mobile. or she will chill in her swing, or car seat or lay on the couch, but these chill times only last about 15-20 minutes.. max...
also, ive noticed that the past few nights, it is like she is fighting going to sleep, when her eyes close, and she realizes it, she screams.

would any of that possibly be signs that she is spoiled? or is it normal and a phase she is going through? at night, it takes about an hour for her to really go to sleep.. she will get to sleep, then wake up crying and i pat her back or hold her, and she goes abck to sleep.. this happens 5-6 times before she really goes to sleep.

and im not quite sure how to entertain a 1 month old.. lol HELP!!

I think any parent would agree that you can't spoil a 1 month old. I'd say you're entertaining her the "right" way. Sounds like the same things I did with mine.
I think you're lucky it only takes an hour to get her to sleep at night. It took me closer to 2-2 1/2 for quite awhile with my daughter. Then finally one night I decided it was time to let her cry for just a bit. She cried for 15-20 minutes and went to sleep and stayed asleep all night. I think she was about 4-5 months old when I did that.
I wouldn't worry too much. Sounds like things are going as they should.
Relax and enjoy!!!

Terri's right. You really can't spoil a one month old. When she gets to about 3 months that's when you start letting them cry things out. YOu have to remember it was only four weeks ago where she was snuggled in a nice warm belly. She just doesn't have the attention span at this time to do things longer. Plus every kid is different. Mikey would stay in the swing four hours and nap. I think the longest Payton was in it was 15 minutes. O packed it up yesterday cause she won't go in it at all. Now she is 6 months and she won't stay on the floor playing longer then 20 minutes, same thing with the walker and stuff.

The ladies are right, she sounds like a perfectly normal 1 month old doing exactly what she should be doing. I remember when Lily was 1 month old and I though she was sleeping too much and I would complain and everyone told me to enjoy the peace now because as the months roll on the naps get shorter and the attention you must give them get longer. Enjoy the time you have when she lets you just cuddle her in your arms because soon enough she will start to be more independent! Smile

THose are great sites. I wish I knew of them. How did you find them cause I would love to know what more I could do with my six month old. My son at 6 months was content with anything. Little miss payton isn't like that so I don't know how to keep her entertained

See you were worried you were over feeding her. That's a nice size for a one month old baby.
