I had my first pregnancy 15 years ago and now pregnant again i am already 1 cm dialated with it thinning out to stretch to 2 cm's how fast do you dialate in your second pregnancy. i feel pressure on my back and in my pelvis and have yet to go into labor . i guess i am just impatient cause my first came early about 34 weeksand i am almost 38 now.

I totally understand how you are feeling . I had my first son at 36 weeks and my second was induced on his due date and let me tell you it felt like I was pregnant for a YEAR longer than my first...lol

I dialated in 20 hours with my first son , even though my water had broken. With my second son I was dialated to 3-4 for 3 weeks prior to being induced and they had to break my water.. My labor was shorter and only 13 1/2 hours with him . OY lets hope this one comes a little bit quicker...lol

My boys too were quite a few years apart, 9 to be exact. I honestly believe that when you have them that far apart it is like a first pregnancy all over again and anything can happen!!!

Good luck and I hope this helped you in some way!!

I CAN NOT imagine being in labor for that long! I was in labor for a total of 5-6 hours, and i pushed for 2 of those... it went by so fast for me.. I have a hard time remembering...

Smile when I went into labour with my first child it was 11:16pm got to the hospital around 1:am and was 6cm dialated. At 2:40 I was fully dialated and ready to push had baby at 3:44am I was 11 days over my due date. With my girl I was 13 days over due and they induced me. I went into labour around 3:30pm was fully dialated at 4:20 pm and had her at 4:29pm My second was a fast labour I have heard that second births are faster than first births,I was also told that being induced can cause a faster more painful/severe labour and that is what my second birth was like. if I had had pain medication I think it would have been less painful. The end result was worth everything I had to go thru. All pregnancies are differant All women are differant and some people have higher pain thresholds than others. I wish you all the best and hope that I have helped a little. Very Happy
