I am trying to start a collection for my daughter. I am sick of getting toys and clothes for her from relatives. I thought it would be nice if she had a collection of something, and she will treasure it when she is older, knowing who shes got what from and for what ocassion.
I collect boyds bears. I LOVE THEM! I'm addicted. I was thinking about starting a collection of them for her too. But I would like her to have something unique of her own.
Does anyone have any ideas??? Does anyones child have a collection?
I know for sure I don't want barbies. Too many and too big.
Just curious if anyone had any ideas!
Thanks!

| We started Payton on two collections. My mom started her one a collection of tea cups and sauces. They are not sets just one cup and sauser. She has about four of them. Really delicate and dainty. On the back of the first one she got her she wrote something about looking forward to her first tea party. I started her on a collection of musical carosels. I had them when I was younger so I gave her mine and bought her a new one of her own. Oh I almost forgot my dad started her on a collections of music boxes. |
