| Lucas has gotten to the point where he wants to feed himself. I tested him out on fruit puffs to see if he was ready and he was. Any ideas on foods that I can give him? He still has no teeth. We've tried soft avocado which he seems to love. Anything else for a toothless baby? |

My baby was toothless until his first birthday, although he refused baby food by six months. So needless to say, he ate ALOT of fingerfood without teeth!
Great tip, so can strain soup and feed him the cubes of veggies (make sure it is low sodium soup, or just rinse the veggies first) they are nice and mushy.
Mashed banana pieces
very soft sweet potatoe cubes
any kind of squash, baked until soft. (really, most all root veggies work well cooked until mushy, then cut into small cubes) |

Farley's Biscuts. Dont know if you've got em where you are but they are great! Thay don't break into peices like other cookies and Lucas can gum on em. also frozen whole wheat bagels and dry toast with the crust cut off.
BTW Hannah only just got her tooth a month ago |

| My MIL said that one of her boys didn't cut his first tooth until 13 months. I'm not really worried. I kinda like the lack of teeth since I'm still nursing. He has a tendency to bite down every once in a while. It hurts enough with just gums. |

He's good. He's having to rebond with his father. My husband had to go on deployment for almost four months.
He's starting to try to crawl. He can get all over the place pretty quickly. And he's a wonderful eater. I'm not looking forward to my grocery budget when he's older. |

OMG he is sooooo adorable! Just look at that smile! He is gonna break a few hearts! Hannah is gonna be a monkey for halloween. She loooves monkeys. She can't crawl yet! I am impatient but I have heard enough times not to rush her being able to get around! And I have enough common sense to know that they are sooo right! Hannah has to kinda "re-bond with her father too in a way. She never really saw that much of him but now they are spending more time together and she looooves to talk to him on the phone it is so cute! |
