| I was told by my gp that to boost my chances of falling pregnant i should lose weight, now Iagree that I need to lose weight and am in the process of doing just that, but is this something anyone else has run into or is it crap? |

| I have heard that being overweight or underweight can hurt your chances of fertility. Although it is much worse if you are underweight. |

Yes I have to agree - overweight or underweight can effect your chances. But hey - doesn't say it won't happen but try lose a bit to help even more. The very best of British to you!

Thanks guys I have cut out the coke and the carbs, aiming to lose 5kg by next appt.  |

The less weight you have to carry around whist pregnant the easier it will be for you anyway. Also gives you that extra energy boost! |
