I am about 30 weeks and have been experiencing bh's for a few weeks. Tonight, though, they have been very painful! This is my 4th baby. So I do know what labor feels like but could it be possible for the baby to be "getting into position" this early? My next appointment is not until Jan 9th. If these bh's continue to be like this do you think I should call my midwife? I really don't think I'm in labor or anything but do you think I may be dialating? it is too early for me to have this baby!! I'm starting to get a little nervous. Let me know what you think???

Thanks:)

Well, I am 23 weeks pregnant with my second, and I know that I started feeling BH contractions much earlier, and much stronger then with my first pregnancy. I've been told this is perfectly normal, so I suppose with your fourth baby, they would be even stronger and earlier.

It NEVER hurts to give your midwife a call. You are probably fine to wait to see her until the 9th, but giving her a call will give you a little extra piece of mind Smile
