something really weird yet really cool (if it was what i think it was) happened to me today. I was lying on the my stomach on the floor and it felt like i was lying on a ball about the size of a softball. was that my baby??? thanks for the help

By the way is anyone due in may

baby #1 due on my husband's b-day

I don't know that it's the baby, but it's probably your enlarged uterus... I feel it all the time, too. Just wait until you start getting further along....You won't even be able to lay on your belly because it's more like a beach ball!! :lol:

I agree with Danielle. I don't think it was the baby. Probably more like you tummy getting bigger and at your stage I think they call it bowel distention that makes your waistline bigger, not so much a uterus getting bigger or the baby. Don't worry though you will feel the baby in a while and it is the greatest feeling ever. I felt her once at 18 weeks, once at 19 weeks and then more consistently from about 21 weeks. It is my first pregnancy. If it is your first pregnancy you can expect to feel your baby about the time I did. It wasn't really noticeable until about 21 weeks though!! You'll get there!!
