I have been spotting since Saturday. It was originally brown but now it is red and not heavy but enough to wear a panty liner. i went to the Doctor on Tuesday and had an internal ultrasound and all was okay. My cervix is closed etc. He is not sure why I am bleeding and can't rule out a miscarriage but told me that sometime when a woman has had multiple births - i have 2 other children - that her uterus is lower and the cervix rubs on the vagina and can cause bleeding - he also said sex can cause bleeding. i do not have cramps or any other symptoms of a miscarriage. Has anyone ever heard of this - or had this experience?

No can't say that I have. Does the doctor have you coming in for a follow-up visit soon or any other instructions?

Hi,

When I was having a miscarriage, the ER doctor that saw me said that some women bleed throughout their pregnancies and everything is fine. He told me that his wife bled through two of her pregnancies.
I would definitely go for a follow-up check just to be safe.
When I was miscarrying, the bleeding was brown and very light, a few days later it turned red and got heavier, but I also started to get mild then heavy cramping two days later.

Good luck and I hope everything will be ok.
