I have a co-worker who just found out she's pregnant a couple days ago (she's like 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant now). I just got back from a work party and she asked me about spotting. I guess she had some this morning. Is that bad? I didn't have any and I'm 8 weeks pregnant now. I didn't know what to tell her. I suggested calling her doctor and asking the nurse or something. But I thought I'd ask here for her since you all seem to know a lot more than me. Thanks!

It is best for her to talk to her doctor. I spotted last Sat. and I went to go my doctor told me to come in Mon. They did an ultrasound to make sure everything was alright. It could be anything. I wish her the best of luck!

Thanks the response. My co-worker lost the baby. She was barely pregnant, but she'd been trying for awhile. She taken lots of negative tests in the past and had been excited by her two current positive ones. She's a little sad, but she's going to keep trying.

I was spotting at 9 weeks pregnant and was very worried so I went to the doctor and they wanted to check if the baby was in the tubes or if it was a normal pregnancy. I spotted over several weeks and found out that it was implantation bleeding . so in some pregnancies it is normal. but it is best to get it checked out. I am sorry to hear about your co-worker
