i'm not sure if i'm pg. or not..i'm almost 2 weeks late on my period. i've taken 2 hpt's..which have both been negative. i have 3 questions. if my last period was may 26th..when would i have ovulated next? and my second question is what are the symptoms of a 4-6 week pregnancy? how would i know that i'm pregnant, because i've missed my period...but i've had two negative hpt's..and no other pg. symptoms. also keep in mind that i had sex on june 9th, and it was my first time in 6 months. PLEASE HELP!

I would go to a doctor and have a blood test done to find out if your preg. or not. That is the most accurate way.

According to my pregnancy calculator...if the First Day of your Last Period was May 26th your date of Probable Ovulation is June 9th
visit this iste for more info:

Sounds like you could be pregnant.

thanx for the reply..i took a look at that website. i also took another hpt today..and it was still a negative. so that makes 3 negative hpt's. what should i do now? should i just wait it out? or is there a chance that the pg. test is inaccurate??

If you really want to know you can have a Dr. or clinic do a blood pregnancy test. Then you would know right away. According to my Pregnancy Calculator most home pregnancy tests would not test positive until August 8th. Good Luck...Try to relax...stress isn't good for you.
Just curious... Do you want to be pregnant?

This is info from another site:
Most tests recommend testing at the time your period is due, or within the first few days after a delay in the onset of your period. Sufficient levels of hCG are not detectable by home pregnancy tests until approximately 10 to 14 days after ovulation. Most of the commonly available tests detect hCG levels of 20 to 40 mIU, the amount typically present at the time of the missed period if pregnancy has occurred. (Manufacturers of the LifeSign 1 test claim that it will detect levels as low as 15 mIU.) All tests should be positive by four weeks following ovulation. Above all, it is important to follow the package directions in relation to when testing is recommended.

Your test may be right. Maybe you're not pregnant. This says ALL tests should be positive by 4 weeks. Wait and see. Try to relax.
I was 16 when I had my first so I know how you're feeling.
Let me know....okay.

I am so SORRY I just took another look at my pregnancy calculator and it says it should be positive by July 8, not August 8th! VERY sorry.
So maybe you are okay...just stress making you miss your cycle.
