I was wondering why Lily was so cranky today, well now I know. Her second bottom tooth broke through today! :)

Funny how you can never be sure that a kid's crankiness is teething until you actually SEE teeth :)

Congratulations.
Still waiting on teeth here. I may give her one of mine. It would be easier.

My little guy was extremely fussy this weekend also due to his second tooth erupting and of course I didn't have a clue. Thought it could've been an ear infection. Glad it finally broke through. Now I'm dreading the rest of them. My dd's teeth never really seemed to bother her.

You are so lucky! Jake started teething around 2 1/2 mo also. But now we are at 6 months and have yet to see any teeth. His gums/teeth usually bother him the most in the evenings. Is it normal for them to have a certain time of day that they are teething?

Well with Lily, when the first one was breaking through, I never noticed anything during the day but she was waking up a couple times a night when normally she sleeps through the night. A few days after that started I saw the tooth. Now with this second tooth it seems to be bothering her more during the day and her naps and not bothering her at night.

Wow! My son is 6 months and no sign of teeth at all! He drools a bit and bites on everything but he isn't cranky and when I put my finger in his mouth and feel around... nothing, not one bump! Do babies usually have teeth by now?

Some take longer, Lilys 9 month old cousin is teething at the same time as her. Be happy you have not had to deal with it yet :)

Mikey got his first tooth July 6th. He was 1 on August 17th so he was almost a year. Doctor said that was late but he had a theory, the later the teeth come in the stronger and healthier they are

Hey now....I don't like that theory!!:) That means Lily would have weak bad teeth :(

Ohhhh no I didn't mean that. He must have meant stronger then most teeth..........almost super human. LOL!! But it doesn't matter cause my teeth came in late too which meant I lost my baby teeth late which meant I had to have five teeth pulled when I was real young. So it's not so great at all
