hey liz, i hope they go ahead and do the c-section. i had a similar experience, after 24 hours in the hospital, i was only 75% effaced and the baby was really high, had no contractions, even after 20 hrs of pitocin. so i had a c-section and to tell you the truth, I will chose to have another one next time. i didn't think the pain was that bad and i recovered really fast! also my vagina is intact! :) anyway, i hope whatever happens, the baby comes soon and you have a safe delivery, love sally 2
