: hey liz, i hope they go ahead and do the c-section. i had a similar experience, after 24 hours in the hospital, i was only 75% effaced and the baby was really high, had no contractions, even after 20 hrs of pitocin. so i had a c-section and to tell you the truth, I will chose to have another one next time. i didn't think the pain was that bad and i recovered really fast! also my vagina is intact! :) anyway, i hope whatever happens, the baby comes soon and you have a safe delivery, love sally 2

Hi Sally! Thanks!! I know everyone who has had a section tells me they would do it again!! Thats my fear, being in labor for SOOO long then having to have a c-section. I'd rather just get it over with and still be intact. Cause my friend just had a baby and she is the same age, height and weight as I am. Her baby was 6 lbs and she ripped from her vagina all the way down and had to have 10 stiches OUCH!! SHe said that was the worst part!!! I could just amagine and she had a small baby! My baby weighed more than that 3 weeks ago! OH NO!! But thanks so much for your support!!!
