Hi everyone,

It's been 6 months since I've had my baby girl (Iris) and all is going well. When I left the hospital after she was born, I was given a sanitary belt and some extra tabbed napkins. What a through back, I didn't even know they made them any more, my mother used to wear these. Now, I know this may sound odd but after going through the supply the hospital gave me I found myself preferring this method rather than the stick pads. I've never been able to wear tampons because like my mother I'm yeast infection prone.

Well after doing some searching online I found a place that still sells belts and tabbed napkins and I've been wearing them, at least on my heavy days, ever since. It certainly prevents bunching and I've yet to have a pad move out of place.

So am I that different because I use the belt and pad method? I told a friend of mine about it and she laughed and laughed, but she then realized to each her own. Am I doomed to be different?

Thanks all for listening,
Kate
