Does anyone know where I can find an "alternative" birth center in Colorado? Many hospitals have done a good job disguising themselves as such, but I just visited a friend in one and the "hospitalness" of it scared me. I am looking for a place that is located next to or near a hospital, but where the rooms look like someone's home and where you can have a midwife and doula attend to you and the doctors and hospital only get involved if it's absolutely necessary. Any info is helpful. Thank you!
