Would anyone be interested in sharing their experiences with the development of their premature child(ren)? I know all infants develop at different rates. My daughter just turned 5 months but my doctor told me to think of her as a 3 1/2 -4 month old. My daughter was 6 weeks early with no health problems except not strong enough to eat. She just starting smiling in Dec. and the past couple weeks rolling onto one side. Do they eventually 'catch up' with other children their age? My doctor so far mentioned that her first year she will be at least a month behind 'typical' development.
