I don't think this is your problem, but when our daughter was about 4 months old she stopped wanting to eat because she wanted to eat real food. When she was younger she went through phases where she liked different temperatures and refused to eat if it was a couple degrees off. She also went through a different nipple a day phase. We bought every kind of nipple we could find for her until she decided she liked the rubber kind - she hated the clear nipples. Good luck!

: I have a 4 month old that has been a fussy eater almost since the beginning. She eats 1 to 3 oz, then stops and won't eat more. Cries if I try to feed her more. She's now starting to lose weight. Doc prescribed Zantak and it's been 5 days with no change. She usually eats first 1 or 2 ounces just fine and with gusto. Then stops, we burp (and burp and burp) and then try to get her to eat and she refuses and just cries. Doesn't matter if it is breast, breast milk in bottle, or formula. Have tried Nuk, Platex, Avent and Gerber. Any ideas?
