The worst is going to come when the tooth actually pops through and then the kiddo will adjust. We had a month or two of varying states of teething, but not everything we thought was teething was actually teething. The first tooth came through about three weeks ago and the second came through on Sunday. Each time Hannah was really really needy and slept like crap for a few days and then went back to normal. If you're SURE that a tooth is actually breaking through, grin and bear it. It shouldn't last more than a few days. If you're not 100% sure, go to a doctor. This could also be an ear infection.
