Teething signs?

I was just wondering if anyone can tell me some of the signs of teething. My 4-month-old has been crabbier than usual, is putting EVERYTHING in her mouth and chewing on it, and is drooling a bit. I've felt her gums and I don't feel anything popping through, but her gums look a little white on the bottom in the middle. Does any of this sound like she might be teething? Also, can anyone recommend anything I can make for her to chew on? She has millions of teether toys, and she just isn't that interested in them. She's more interested in the things that she's not supposed to chew on (the tv remote, the cat, etc. lol!). Any advice would be appreciated.
