: Yep, another ?. My 5 1/2 mos old, usually takes 3-4 30 min naps a day. Yesterday I couldnt keep him awake. He slept 30 mins in the am... then a 2 hr nap an hour later he slept another 2 hours. And then he took another nap and slept an hour at his bedtime and woke up for an hour. Today he has yet to get up, he usually wakes at 8, he woke up at 7 ate... and fell back asleep. Should I be concerned? Hopefully that wasn't confusing! thanks. Hi Shana, I wouldn't put too much thought into this. Baby's sleep for a reason...because they need it. My son was the same way when he was a baby and now at 3 1/2yrs. he is my little marathon napper. He only naps once a day but he can put in a good 3-4 hrs. and sometimes longer when really tired. He is perfectly healthy and content. He is a high energy kid and has been this way with sleeping since babyhood. Good luck... If it really concerns you, talk to his ped. regarding this matter.
