first time mom and feeding

Help! I am totally clueless about feeding my son. He is four months old and we've been given the go ahead to start him on rice cereal. But, I have no clue what to do. I know I sound sad, but I just need some suggestions and advice.

When do I give the cereal? How much to start? Do I continue to give all of his bottles (4 6oz. per day)? When would I give juice or water?

Any book titles or web sites would also be greatly appreciated. My son is a charm and sleeps well. I just don't know what to do.
