: My baby girl just turned 3 months on January 7th. Since the day we brought her home she has been smiling, she started cooing last month, holds her head up, lifts her self while on tummy, but she doesn't roll over yet. I keep reading they should roll over one way by the time they are 2 months. I know every baby progresses differntly, but she doesn't even try! Anyone think it's a big deal? : Also, her first month and a half, she would sleep 18-20 hours a day! She then got her days and nights mixed up and would sleep all day and be up all night...lukily daddy works second shift and is up anyway. Well, the past 3 nights, she's been going to bed and sleeping all night. Last night she went to bed at 12:30 and woke up at 9:30 this morning! She fell asleep as soon as she finished her bottle and didn't wake up until 4:00 pm! I've talked to the Dr. about her sleeing so much and they say enjoy it. But I have never seen a baby especially 3 months old sleep as much as her!? Everyone teases and says she has Narcalepsy (sp?) because she'll be playing and just fall asleep! Anyone ever hear of a baby sleeping so much?! I posted yesterday about mine sleeping too much as well. It sounds as though if she is teething that could be one cause. I wouldn't worry about the rolling over. Our ds was very strong at birth and liked to stand, etc... However he just learned how to roll and is 5 1/2 mos now. Every child is going to be different. Good luck!
