My 2-month old son sleeps so much better on his tummy. I tried diligently when I came home from the hospital for a good 4-5 weeks to get him to sleep on his back. He would fall asleep, then wake up within an hour every time. We have a lot of "tummy" time, and he really feels comfortable on his tummy. His neck is very strong and he can move his head from side to side easily. I've also tried to move him onto his back after he's in a deep sleep state, but it really doesn't work. I have him sleep with me in bed, or next to my bed in his Pack n Play. I still worry that I'm doing the "wrong" thing, however.
