: Long story short, my daughter has indigestion and gas all day long. It wakes her from sleeping becasue she has to burp so many times. It never ends, she will still have to burp hours after she's eaten and it bothers her. She only has mild reflux and is on pepcid, which I don't think helps. She's on alimentum formula. As soon as she eats she gets maybe 2 oz in her then cries. It's almost like something is blocking her from eating. She bends in half as if someone punched her in the stomach and cries. She is sometimes hard to burp. Do any of you know what could be wrong? Her doctors told me there is nothing they can do for her! I need to find new drs! Thanks for any suggestions!

We put our ds on Zantac, at that age he was taking .8 cc twice a day. It really helps with the pain they have associated with reflux. He also used to bend in half arching his back, he would scream a lot. He would spit up 24/7. I can only suggest maybe trying small feedings more frequently since she is upset after 2 oz. The Zantac made a world of difference for us, but that's not always the case for every child. The dr's don't do anything for it. They never do... good luck!
