: : I need help. My baby was doing wonderfully sleeping 6-7 hours a night in her crib, rarely waking until morning. My milk supply starting dwindling because of antihistamines a block headed Dr put me on, I was told it would help my supply to keep baby near me at night and nurse as often as she wanted. Supply is getting better but now baby wont sleep in her bed at all!!! If she is deeply asleep I can start her in her crib but within an hour she wakes screaming horribly. I tried ONE time to let her cry to sleep but in 4 minutes she was so upset she was sideways and gagging for air, kickng and screaming. I cannot sleep well with baby, and Dad sleeps fitfully now too and even baby wakes constantly to feed, but in our bed she drifts back off quietly. I am not going to let her cry it out, I cannot stand to see her so upset because she wants to be near us... but I would love to get her back into her crib if possible. P.S. She did have a double ear infection and a cold when she began waking all night long but both have passed and she still wakes constantly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. : Tameryn did the same thing at 5 months i was about to scream myself lol i had no choice but to place her back in her crib and tell her that she was gonna b OK and whined up her mobile and leave he room... i hated to do that but there was no other after a few minutes she was fast asleep. Doctor told me that babies are SUPER smart, they know in mom and dad's bed is a few factors their bed dont have.... food source, body heat lol made sence to me... durning the day she will wake up from her nap and start playing for 10 to 15 minutes before yellin mamma mamma : Mind u Tameryn had her own room... that might made a different i dont know if u baby has her own room or not.
