You probably do not care to read posts from me but I will try anyway... Pillow - a flat one at this stage should be fine. My son has had a flat pillow (about 2 inches thick, but soft) since he was 18 months. Toddler bed - It is best to wait until at least 24 months of age but if the child is falling out because he/she is a climber, then it is safer to have him/her in a toddler bed. Teeth - Until the age of 4 or 5 it is recommended by dentists that you brush your children's teeth. Teach them how and allow them to do it, but you do it again afterward to be sure they got everywhere. Hope this helps. Lori K
