: : my daughter is 14 months old and she is still on breast feeds. she dosen't sleep in night for more then an hr and gets up for frequent feeds. this does not let us sleep. how to make her sleep for long in night...Please help///!!! : WOW, MY DAUGHTER IS ASLO 14 MTHS OLD, SHE HAS SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT SINCE SHE WAS 7 MTHS OLD. SHE DRINKS THE BOTTLE , IT WOULDNT HURT IF U GIVE HER A BOTTLE MAYBE WITH BREAST MILK AT NIGHT, U CAN ADD A LITTLE RICE CEREAL IN IT TO THICKEN IT UP. IS THE ROOM QUIET, TOO QUIET MAYBE? I LEAVE A TV ON OR THE RADIO TO PUT HER TO SLEEP. I think at that age she should not have to get up to eat/drink breast milk. If she has had a good supper of table food and a feed of milk before bed, there should be no reason why she is waking up to eat/drink. Sounds like maybe she is using that as a excuse to get up. I myself would suggest saying no,and give her a drink of water or milk (pumped breastmilk) from a sippy cup.and say no more. Sorry if I couldn't help much, good luck!!
